About

Tara’s Cottage is a simple, rural retreat nestled in the hills of Milan, NY.

Available for short- or long-term rental.

Upon arrival, you'll immediately feel the calm of the natural surroundings: fresh air, quiet woods, and the gentle sounds of nature. There is high-speed internet, but no TV. Instead, enjoy a curated selection of books and the opportunity to fully unwind without the usual distractions of modern life. This is a space designed for true rest and restoration.

Nearby, you'll find the world-renowned Omega Institute, Bard College, and the charming villages of Rhinebeck and Tivoli. The area also offers access to national parks and countless hidden gems throughout the Hudson Valley.

A private hiking trail begins at the back of the property, leading to stunning views across the Hudson River.

You may be greeted by one of three friendly chickens who roam the property—they're part of the charm.
